At the end of November 2011, official reserve assets made up LTL 21.3 billion (EUR 6.2 billion). In November, they increased by LTL 2.1 billion or 11.1%.
The growth of official reserve assets in November was driven by an increase of LTL 2.6 billion in central government deposits with the Bank of Lithuania, a rise of LTL 370.8 million in currency in circulation, and a hike of LTL 15.6 million in the value of Special Drawing Rights (SDRs).
The above data was released today by the Statistics Department of the Bank of Lithuania.
