(survey of key indicators)

In September 2014 the build-up of the current account balance in surplus (LTL 346.8 million, or EUR 100.4 million) was driven by growth in the surplus balances of secondary income and capital account, as well as the remaining surplus in the balances of services. The negative financial account balance (LTL 148.6 million, or EUR 43 million) was due to the positive flow of net direct and portfolio investment.

These new data were released today by the Statistics Department of the Economics and Financial Stability Service at the Bank of Lithuania.
