Yassine Bakkar is an associate professor (senior lecturer) of finance at Queen’s University Belfast (UK). He holds a PhD in economics from the University of Limoges (France). His research focuses on the intersection between financial economics and banking, with a particular interest in financial stability and systemic risk, central banking and regulations, the effectiveness of macroprudential policies, and climate finance.
