The Bank of Lithuania begins publishing the balance sheet statistics of life-cycle pension funds

The Bank of Lithuania begins publishing the balance sheet statistics of life-cycle pension funds, which supplement the balance sheet statistics of 2^nd and 3^rd pillar pension funds. These data will give users the possibility to analyse life-cycle pension fund data broken down by instrument category and remaining maturity, as well as residency of the counterparty and sector; covering two types of information: outstanding amounts at the end of the period and transactions during the period. Also, more detailed data on pension fund investments in investment funds broken down by type of fund (equity, bond, mixed, real estate, hedge and other) begins to be published.

The data will be published on a quarterly basis following the publication dates available in the data release calendar, starting with the data for Q2 2019.
