The Set of Annual Financial Statements of the UAB Lithuanian Mint, 2011 was approved and the enterprise profit was distributed
The Board of the Bank of Lithuania approved the audited set of Annual Financial Statements of the UAB Lithuanian Mint, 2011. It is composed of the balance sheet, profit and loss account, statement of the own capital changes, statement of cash flows and explanatory notes.
According to the profit and loss account, the enterprise sales income amounted to LTL 20 759 459 (in 2010 – LTL 15 477 623), net profit made up LTL 812 469 (in 2010 the enterprise incurred a loss of LTL 1 015 932).
After the transfer from reserves LTL 700 000, the distributable profit of the UAB Lithuanian Mint was equal to LTL 1 544 740 in 2011. The Board of the Bank of Lithuania resolved to distribute this profit as follows: for the payment of dividends – LTL 1 235 800, for enterprise investments – LTL 146 450, for social and other purposes – LTL 162 490.
The owner‘s rights and duties of the UAB Lithuanian Mint operating in Vilnius are implemented by the Bank of Lithuania.
It was resolved to issue licences of a payment institution for enterprises located in Kupiškis and Tauragė
The Board of the Bank of Lithuania made a resolution to issue a restricted licence of a payment institution to UAB ”Kupiškio komunalininkas” and a payment institution licence to UAB ”Rausida” (Tauragė). Both licences authorise a right to provide a payment service established in Paragraph 6 of Article 5 of the Law on Payments. To this moment, 24 enterprises have been issued the licence for payment services.
Results of the contest for selecting graphic designs of a 10 litas coin dedicated to arts were approved
The Board of the Bank of Lithuania approved results of the contest of graphic designs of a 10 litas collectors’ (commemorative) coin dedicated to arts. The first award was given to designs of Rūta Ničajienė, the second – of Bronius Leonavičius, and the third place – to works of Giedrius Paulauskis.
The Board approved obverse and reverse graphic designs of the 10 litas collectors‘ (commemorative) coin created by Rūta Ničajienė. Also, the inscription ”LITHUANIAN CULTURE. ARTS” on the edge of the coin was approved.
The coin dedicated to arts is planned to be issued in the second quarter of 2012.
