The Bank of Lithuania informs that, on 13 November 2023, bankruptcy proceedings were instituted against PAYRNET UAB by a ruling of the Vilnius Regional Court.
Customers who have not received payments from PAYRNET UAB can lodge their claims to Insolvency Administrator Vaidas Verenius by 14 December 2023 at Erfurto g. 30, Vilnius, Lithuania; phone +370 656 07170.
Under the laws in force in Lithuania, a court may, at the insolvency administrator’s request, extend the time limit for lodging claims for a period of not more than 14 days. The court itself is also entitled to accept customers’ claims if it recognises the reasons for missing the time limit to be important.
According to the information provided by PAYRNET UAB, the institution has returned about 97% of the funds to its customers. The company is obliged to transfer the rest of the funds to the insolvency administrator who will take over their management and payments to the customers of the institution. Please note that the electronic money institution licence of PAYRNET UAB was revoked on 22 June 2023 for serious violations.
