Bank of Lithuania

A management company is a market participant licensed by the Bank of Lithuania, who has the right to manage investment portfolios and investment funds. Management companies holding a licence for broader activities may manage not only investment funds, but also pension funds.

A collective investment management company intended for informed investors is a market participant licensed by the Bank of Lithuania, whose main activity is management of collective investment undertakings intended for informed investors.

Currently, 34 management companies operate in Lithuania.
