Francesco D’Ascanio

Francesco D’Ascanio University of Hohenheim

Francesco is a postdoctoral fellow at the University of Hohenheim (Germany). He obtained his PhD at the University of Tübingen (Germany) in 2020 and then spent two years at UPF-BSE (Spain), followed by a brief stint in the private sector. His research interests centre on international trade and open economy macroeconomics. He has published in the Journal of Political Economy and is currently undertaking research on the topic of the mismatch between human capital and skills.
