Alminas is an Assistant Professor of Finance at the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology. His research focuses on the intersection between industrial organisation and finance with a particular interest in how firms innovate and the implications of product market collusion on corporate financial decisions. He holds a PhD from INSEAD (France). His papers have been published in the Journal of Financial Economics, the Journal of International Economics, and the Review of Financial Studies.
