Payments sent by clients of Lithuanian PSPs over the quarter.
Total payments include credit transfers, direct debit, e-money payments, payments with cards issued by Lithuanian PSPs, cash withdrawals using cards issued by Lithuanian PSPs (data are collected since 2022), money remittances, cheque payments and other services.
Payments are broken down into domestic, among clients of Lithuanian payment service providers, and cross-border, i.e. sent to payee accounts opened with foreign payment service providers. Cross-border payments are broken down into euro area, EU Member States and the rest of the world by place of establishment of the counterparty’s PSP.
