Obverse

The obverse of the coin features symbols of mythical creatures associated with the four cosmological elements of Baltic mythology—fire, air, water, and earth: an earth pattern, a water wave, an air vortex, and a flame of fire. The flame is highlighted with color, enhancing the symbolic and artistic impression of the “Aitvaras” coin. At the center is a Baltic sun motif. The composition is surrounded by the inscriptions “Lietuva” (Lithuania), the year 2026, the denomination “€20,” the logo of the producer, Lithuanian Mint (UAB Lietuvos monetų kalykla), as well as plant motifs and decorative elements.

Reverse

The reverse depicts the mythical Aitvaras, a symbol of mystery and transformation, portrayed as a Rooster—a creature believed to bring luck and wealth, yet capable of punishing disrespect with fire. Its wings resemble flames, while a ring of stylized fire encircles the figure. The composition is framed by ornamental plant motifs and decorative elements.
