Taking into account the request of the US company Square Inc. and having assessed the information received, the Supervision Service of the Bank of Lithuania did not object to the indirect acquisition of the electronic money institution Verse Payments Lithuania, UAB, licensed in Lithuania. 

Square Inc., which provides payment and financial services, is listed on the NY stock exchange and is the parent company of the Square Group. The group consists of 28 companies operating in North America, Europe, Asia and Australia. Its cofounder and director is Jack Dorsey, who also cofounded and runs Twitter.
