The new Chairman of the Board of the Bank of Lithuania Vitas Vasiliauskas started his term of office
Mr. Vitas Vasiliauskas started his office as the Chairman of the Board of the Bank of Lithuania.
The decision to appoint Mr. Vitas Vasiliauskas as the Chairman of the Board of the Bank of Lithuania from 16 April was taken by the Seimas of the Republic of Lithuania on 24 March this year.
The Chairman of the Board of the Bank of Lithuania is appointed for the term of five years. The number of the terms of office is not limited.
