The IMF Mission will work in Lithuania
From 11 to 15 June, the International Monetary Fund (IMF) Mission, headed by Ms. Julie Kozack, a representative of the European Department of the IMF, will work in Lithuania. This Mission arrives to Lithuania once in each half of the year.
The IMF experts will analyse Lithuania’s overall macroeconomic situation and economic development trends, assess the situation in the financial sector and the implementation of the budget and social policy measures. The meetings are planned with the representatives of the Bank of Lithuania, the Ministry of Finance and other public institutions and the private sector.
Lithuania is a member of the International Monetary Fund since 1992. Currently, 187 countries are members of the IMF.
