The Bank of Lithuania made a suggestion to the court to appoint AB bankas SNORAS bankruptcy administrator
The Board of the Bank of Lithuania decided to propose the Vilnius District Court to appoint UAB “Įmonių bankroto administravimo ir teisinių paslaugų biuras” as the bankruptcy administrator of AB bankas SNORAS.
This decision together with the application regarding the initiation of bankruptcy proceedings against bank SNORAS were delivered to the court today. According to the law, the court must take the decision on this issue no later than within 15 days from the date of submission of the application.
The Board of the Bank of Lithuania also decided that the powers of the temporary administrator of bank SNORAS Simon Vincent Freakley appointed on 16 November will end, when the Vilnius District Court makes a ruling regarding the initiation of bankruptcy proceedings against bank SNORAS and appoints bank SNORAS bankruptcy administrator.
