Speaker of the Seimas introduced the new Chairman of the Board of the Bank of Lithuania
Today, the Speaker of the Seimas of the Republic of Lithuania Irena Degutienė introduced the new Chairman of the Board of the Bank of Lithuania Vitas Vasiliauskas to the staff members of the Bank of Lithuania.
The decision to appoint Mr Vitas Vasiliauskas as the Chairman of the Board of the Bank of Lithuania from 16 April was made by the Seimas of the Republic of Lithuania on 24 March after nomination of the candidate by the country’s President.
