Balance of Payments of the Republic of Lithuania July 2019

Today, the Bank of Lithuania published the balance of payments for July 2019, which shows that the €102.5 million deficit on the current account balance was driven by the increase in the negative balances of foreign trade and primary income. The significant increase in foreign trade imports (15.0%), compared to exports (2.5%), led to a €315.2 million trade balance deficit.
