In performing the function of credit institutions supervision assigned to the Bank of Lithuania by the laws, the Bank of Lithuania conducts constant monitoring of the situation of the financial system. Therefore, on the basis of objective credit institutions supervision data available to it, the Bank of Lithuania prompts to refrain from irresponsible speculations on the issues of bank stability that are harmful to the public and provoke turmoil.
