The Board of the Bank of Lithuania did not give permission for AB SEB bankas to repay before the maturity a subordinated 10-year loan of EUR 25 million (an equivalent of LTL 86 320 000 million) received from the Swedish Bank Skandinaviska Enskilda Banken AB on 14 December 2005.
This decision was taken on the grounds that the present time was not suitable for the reduction of the bank capital.
