Lithuania’s financial accounts for Q3 2017
The financial accounts data for Q3 2017 published today shows that the debt of non-financial corporations amounted to EUR 17.5 billion at the end of Q3 2017. Its annual growth rate was 7.8 per cent, marking the fourth consecutive quarter of its slower pace of growth. The annual growth rate of non-financial corporations financial assets was 3.3 per cent – 4.5 p.p. lower than the growth rate of debt.
Household debt hit EUR 9.3 billion at the end of Q3 2017 and reached the level recorded in Q4 2008. Its annual growth rate was 7.9 per cent, exceeding the growth rate of financial assets by 6.2 p.p.
