Net external assets of Monetary Financial Institutions (MFIs) grew in November 2011 by LTL 2.7 billion staying in the positive territory for the 12th consecutive month. At the end of November 2011, the annual growth rate of M3 was 8.2%. The growth of M3 monetary aggregate over the month by LTL 467.8 million was driven mainly by an increase in currency in circulation and overnight deposits. Euro loans dominated in the structure of lending to residents, excluding MFIs, at the end of the month they accounted for 68.4% of total loans.
