1. On Thursday the Board of the Bank of Lithuania was presented a report on the targeted inspection of the bank NORD/LB Lietuva. The inspection focused on credit, operational and profit risk management, bank management and internal control in relation to these risks. The Bank was instructed to remove the shortcomings indicated in the inspection report by 1 December 2005.
2. The Board gave its permission to the bank NORD/LB Lietuva to register changes in its articles of association related to the increase of its authorised capital to LTL 234,110,020 approved at the general shareholders’ meeting of 25 March 2005.
According to the supplied data, the shares of the new issue at the nominal value of LTL 38,993,225 were acquired by 3 legal persons and 22 natural persons. 93.2 per cent of the new shares of the nominal value of LTL 36,341,015 were acquired by the German bank Norddeutsche Landesbank-Girozentrale, which is the largest shareholder with 93.1 per cent of the Bank’s authorised capital.
