1. The Board of the Bank of Lithuania was presented the information on the results of the inspection of AB SEB Vilniaus bankas and instructed the bank to remove the deficiencies indicated in the inspection report by 1 July 2007.
The target inspection of SEB Vilniaus bankas focused on individual issues in the areas of the bank management, internal control and operational, credit, liquidity and market risk management, as well as on profitability risk and the process of optimisation and modernisation of the bank’s information system.
2. On the recognition of securities as eligible for concluding repurchase agreements between the Bank of Lithuania and commercial banks
The Bank of Lithuania supplemented the list of securities eligible for concluding repurchase agreements between the Bank of Lithuania and commercial banks with the securities of one more bank.
The list of these securities is published on the website of the Bank of Lithuania. Currently, the list includes securities of the Government of the Republic of Lithuania and two commercial banks.
3. On the approval of the Annual Report of the Bank of Lithuania
The Board of the Bank of Lithuania approved the Annual Report of the Bank of Lithuania for 2006.
Each year the Bank of Lithuania publishes the Annual Financial Statements together with the Auditors’ Report. It will be published as a separate publication and will also be available on the Bank of Lithuania’s website.
