1. Review of the economy of Lithuania and medium-term macroeconomic projections
The Board of the Bank of Lithuania was presented with the information of the Economics Department on the current situation of the economy of Lithuania and its development prospects and adopted the medium-term macroeconomic projections of the Bank of Lithuania.The report about it will be published on the Bank of Lithuania’s website.
2. Approval of the sample commemorative 50 litas silver coin featuring the Lithuanian nature
The Board of the Bank of Lithuania approved the sample commemorative 50 litas silver coin featuring the Lithuanian nature. The coin will be issued in the fourth quarter of 2009.
3. Graphic designs of the 10 litas collector (commemorative) silver coin dedicated to music (from the series “Culture of Lithuania”)
The Board of the Bank of Lithuania approved the results of the graphic design competition of the 10 litas collector (commemorative) silver coin dedicated to music (from the series “Culture of Lithuania”). The design by Rūta Ona Cigriejutė was granted the first place, with the designs by Vytautas Narutis and Vidmantas Valentas ranking second and third.
The Board of the Bank of Lithuania also approved the graphic designs of the obverse and reverse of the 10 litas collector (commemorative) silver coin dedicated to music (from the series “Culture of Lithuania”) and the inscription on the edge of this coin: LIETUVOS KULTURA * MUZIKA * (CULTURE OF LITHUANIA *MUSIC*).
4.Inclusion of the debt securities of indeterminate duration of AB bankas Snoras in the bank’s capital
The Board of the Bank of Lithuania decided to issue permission for AB bankas Snoras to include the issued debt securities of indeterminate duration (420 units with the nominal value of each security of EUR 50,000 and the total value of EUR 21,000,000) in Tier 2 capital of the bank.
