1. The Board gave permission to UAB Sampo Bankas to register amendments in the Bank’s Statute related with a change in the Bank’s name, the rights granted by shares, the competence of the Bank’s bodies, and the procedure for the election and recall of their members.
In addition, the license issued to UAB Sampo Bankas by the Board of the Bank of Lithuania was replaced by a banking license containing the Bank’s new name - AB Sampo Bankas.
2. The Board listened to the information about the results of the credit union on-site inspection conducted in Q3 2004. In this quarter, a general examination was conducted in six credit unions: Palanga credit union, Ukininkų taupa, Jurbarkas credit union, Skuodas credit union, Prienai credit union and Radviliskis credit union. One special examination was also carried out in the credit union Zemdirbio gerovė.
The examination reports of all the credit unions inspected in Q3 specified the instructions and terms for the removal of deficiencies. Credit unions inform the Bank of Lithuania in due time about the removal of the deficiencies pointed out in the inspection reports.
