During their meetings held today and tomorrow, the Members of the Boards of the central banks of Lithuania and Finland will analyse their macroprudential policies and the situation in the financial markets of both countries, share experience in bank management and strategic planning, as well as discuss issues related to FinTech and the digitalisation of the financial sector.
This is the reciprocal two-day visit of the Members of the Board of the Bank of Finland. The Members of the Board of Lietuvos bankas visited Helsinki almost two years ago, opening a dialogue with the central bank of Finland.
The meetings will host Erkki Liikanen, Chairman of the Board of the Bank of Finland, Seppo Honkapohja, Deputy Chair, and Marja Niukanen, Member of the Board, as well as Vitas Vasiliauskas, Chairman of the Board of Lietuvos bankas, Raimondas Kuodis, Deputy Chair, and Marius Jurgilas and Tomas Garbaravičius, Members of the Board.
