Journalists are invited: a quantitative assessment of the impact of the adoption of the euro on the domestic economy to be presented
At a press conference to take place on Thursday, October 3rd, the Bank of Lithuania will present The Quantitative Assessment of the Impact of the Adoption of the Euro on the Domestic Economy.
Vitas Vasiliauskas, the Chairman of the Board of the Bank of Lithuania, and Rūta Rodzko, Director of the Economics and Financial Stability Service of the Bank of Lithuania, will be participating in the Conference.
The conference begins at 11:00 am. Entrance to the Bank of Lithuania is through Totorių g. 4, Vilnius (Conference Hall).
A review of the assessment conducted by the economists of the Bank of Lithuania presents a quantitative assessment of the likely economic benefits of the adoption of the euro; the possible amount of euro adoption costs is also evaluated.
