At the end of October 2004 official international reserves made up LTL 9,496.3 million (EUR 2,750.3 million, USD 3,502.4 million). In the course of one month they increased by LTL 25.2 million, i.e. 0.3 per cent.

Reserves were pushed down by Bank of Lithuania foreign exchange operations with central government institutions (LTL 197.3 million) and non-residents (LTL 175.8 million).
