At the end of November 2005, international reserves made up LTL 10,382.9 million (EUR 3,007.1 million, USD 3,558.7 million).In the course of one month they decreased by LTL 383.4 million, i.e. 3.6 per cent.

The decline of international reserves resulted from the decrease of central government deposits and balances of credit institutions with the Bank of Lithuania of LTL 187.0 million and LTL 160.7 million, respectively, and the decrease of the currency outside the Bank of Lithuania of LTL 70.8 million.

The factors increasing international reserves were the net increase of Bank of Lithuania other liabilities of LTL 29.9 million and the increase of foreign liabilities of the Bank of Lithuania of LTL 5.2 million.
