The Bank of Lithuania, according to the financial education programme "Money Bee", for the first time announced the National Financial Literacy Test to the country’s population — a test for those who wish to check their existing personal finance management knowledge in an interesting manner.
The test can be used to check knowledge on six topics of personal finance management: the basics of personal finance management, saving, responsible borrowing, insurance, investing and the future Lithuanian currency — the euro.
The test can be done on 10–17 December at the information portal DELFI. Of those who answer correctly all of the questions, the first, second and third place winners will be selected.
The first-place winner will be awarded a silver coin, dedicated to the 25th anniversary of the Baltic Way (from the series “Lithuania’s Road to Independence”) and a set of 2014-issue numismatic circulation coins, dedicated to the litas. The second-place winner will receive a set of 2014-issue numismatic circulation coins, dedicated to the litas, and in third place — set of new Lithuanian euro coins.
