Direct Investment In Q2 2018

The Bank of Lithuania and Statistics Lithuania publish the provisional data on direct investment (DI) for Q2 2018. The released data indicates that foreign direct investment (FDI) flow in Lithuania increased by 58.5%, year on year, and amounted to €227.4 million. Cumulative FDI in Lithuania rose by 7.5% over the year and amounted to €15.6 billion as at 30 June 2018. Lithuanian DI flow abroad was positive in Q2 2018 and amounted to €418.5 million. Lithuanian cumulative DI abroad grew by a fourth over the year and amounted to €3.7 billion as at 30 June 2018.

Please note that, when calculating DI for Q2 2018, DI data for Q1 2018 and for 2017 were revised.
