The Board of the Bank of Lithuania issued to four companies: UAB New Entertainment Technology, UAB Maneuver LT, UAB Walletto and Valyuz, UAB, licences of an electronic money institution authorising to issue electronic money and provide certain payment services provided for in the Republic of Lithuania Law on Payments.
Holding a licence of an electronic money institution, UAB New Entertainment Technology will devise and use an electronic money platform where clients will be able to open and manage an electronic money account, order a payment card, etc.
UAB Maneuver LT, after getting a licence of an electronic money institution, intends to devise an e-commerce platform for clients (consumers, service providers, and traders), offering the electronic wallet, payment acceptance and card issuance services. Mobile banking, mass payment services will be provided.
UAB Walleto, holding the licence, will provide e-commerce payment services in the European Union. They include processing of payments received by traders, execution of traders’ payment orders according to their business needs, provisions of electronic money services and payment services for consumers. Moreover, the institution will provide the electronic wallet service for its clients.
Valyuz, UAB, holding a licence of an electronic money institution, intends to open electronic money accounts on the devised platform, issue electronic money, provide payment transaction, currency exchange services, and issue payment cards.
