For clients the newest important information regarding Ūkio bankas will be available via a special free hotline 8 800 10 007 (for those calling within Lithuania) and tel. +370 37 395 532 (outside of Lithuania). Information via this hotline will be provided from 8 to 20:00 on work days, and from 9:00 to 13:00 on weekends.
For convenience, at the Ūkio bankas website (www.ub.lt) clients can find answers to frequently asked questions and information regarding the bank’s services.
Information of general banking, financial stability questions will be provided via a special Bank of Lithuania hotline +370 (5) 268 0068. The telephone line will operate on workdays from 8:00 to 18:00, and on weekends from 10:00 to 15:00.
The Bank of Lithuania’s website also has a specially-created section, which will provide answers to frequently asked questions, inform about the Bank of Lithuania’s decisions regarding Ūkio bankas, and present other relevant information.
On 12 February, 2013 the Board of the Bank of Lithuania decided to appoint a temporary administrator and applied temporary restrictions to the bank’s operation. This aims to ensure efficient protection of the interests of the bank’s clients and general public, the stability and reliability of the financial sector, and to protect the bank’s assets. The restrictions will be temporarily applied, until the possibilities and means for the restructuring of the operation of Ūkio bankas are assessed.
