Bank of Lithuania
2017-10-05

Despite high economic growth and rapid convergence with advanced countries, Lithuania’s income inequality has become the highest in the EU.

By organising this conference the Bank is seeking to gather policy advisers and academics from Lithuania and abroad to discuss the causes, consequences and solutions to income inequality, drawing on both international and domestic experiences.

We expect that the ideas and insights shared at the event will aid Lithuania’s policy makers in adopting adequate and effective measures to tackle economic inequality in the country.
