The Bank of Lithuania received a request from AB DnB NORD regarding permission for Bjørnar Lund to become the Chairman of the Board and Chief Executive Officer (President) of the Bank. The Board of the Bank of Lithuania did not object to this appointment.
AB DnB NORD Bank informed that Bjørnar Lund has extensive experience from his different previous managerial positions (the head of the DnB’s Nordic Desk in Singapore, the regional manager of DnB Bank ASA, and the regional manager of the DnB NOR Bank ASA in charge of business banking). He has been the regional manager of DnB NOR Bank ASA in charge of retail banking in Norway since 2009.
