Over one month reserve money went up by LTL 254.2 million, of which currency in circulation and commercial bank balances on correspondent accounts increased by LTL 151.3 million and LTL 106.8 million, respectively.

Reserve money was increased by the net purchase of foreign exchange by the Bank of Lithuania from commercial banks of LTL 301.4 million, while the operations of non-residents and operations of central government institutions pushed it down by LTL 151.5 million and LTL 3.3 million, respectively.

Foreign assets went up by LTL 110.3 million in October, and central government deposits declined by LTL 180.4 million.
