  14 September 2010    BALANCE SHEET OF THE BANK OF LITHUANIA, JULY 2010    In August 2010, external assets of the Bank of Lithuania increased by LTL 424.6 million, external liabilities of the Bank of Lithuania increased by LTL 269,4 million. Both indicators amounted respectively to LTL 16.2 billion and LTL 635.4 million at the end of the month. Currency in circulation went up by LTL 6.3 million to LTL 8.4 billion at the end of the month. Resident deposits with the Bank of Lithuania increased by LTL 106.9 million to LTL 5.0 billion at the end of the month. Central government deposits shrank by LTL 242.1 million to LTL 2.3 billion at the end of August 2010. Deposits of other monetary financial institutions 0 increased by LTL 349.5 million to LTL 2.6 billion at the end of the month. Capital and reserves increased by LTL 23.6 million to LTL 1.9 billion at the end of August.
