In April 2007, currency in circulation increased by LTL 303.8 million.
The bank’s external assets went up by LTL 944.7 million throughout the month to equal to LTL 15.4 billion at the end of April.
In April, currency in circulation increased by LTL 303.8 million to LTL 8.4 billion at the end of the month. Resident deposits with the Bank of Lithuania increased by LTL 609.8 million over one month as a result of transactions, to LTL 6.1 billion at the end of the month. Deposits of other MFIs grew by LTL 656.1 million due to transactions to make up LTL 3.2 billion at the end of the month. Central government deposits shrank by LTL 46.6million to LTL 2.9 billion at the end of the month.
Since deposits of non-resident MFIs (banks) with the Bank of Lithuania as a result of transactions decreased by LTL 37.7million and deposits of non-MFIs (non-banks) went up by LTL 59.6 million in April, external liabilities of the Bank of Lithuania climbed by LTL 21.9 million to equal LTL 80.7 million at the end of the month.
