Today, Lietuvos bankas published the balance of payments for March 2026, which shows that:

the surplus on the current account balance (CAB) increased by 25.7% in March compared to February, amounting to €497.2 million. As exports and imports of services expanded (by 8.6% and 10.2% respectively), the surplus on the services balance increased (by 6.9%) to €967.4 million. Imports of goods, which grew faster than exports in value terms (€540.3 million and €489.1 million respectively), widened the foreign trade deficit by 10.0% to €562.2 million.
