In Q4 2009, the Current Account Balance (CAB) of the country’s balance of payments was in surplus of LTL 2.4 billion or 10% of gross domestic product (GDP). Compared to Q3, it grew by LTL 1.4 billion or 2.4 times. In 2009, CAB surplus amounted to LTL 3.5 billion
