In December 2009, the surplus on the current account of Lithuania’s Balance of Payments amounted to LTL 1.3 billion, a month-on-month increase of LTL 519.1 million or 63%. The December increase in the current account balance surplus was a result of a jump in the income balance surplus.
The above data was released today by the Statistics Department of the Bank of Lithuania.
