In April 2010, the Current Account of the Balance of Payments of Lithuania recorded a deficit of LTL 90.7 million, a month-on-month decrease of LTL 278.5 million (in March it totalled LTL 369.2 million). It resulted from an increase of the surplus on the current transfer balance. The deficit on the current account balance for January-April this year totalled LTL 629.2 million. In April 2009, it made up a surplus of LTL 20.1 million, while in January-April it showed a deficit of LTL 35.5 million.
