1. The Board of the Bank of Lithuania decided to allow PAREX BANKAS to register amendments to its Articles of Association in relation to the change of rights arising from shares, competence of the bank’s bodies, election of their members and revocation procedure, adopted at the General Shareholders’ Meeting of 26 July 2007.
2. On Graphic Designs of the Commemorative Coin Dedicated to XXIX Olympic Games
The Board of the Bank of Lithuania decided to approve the results of the graphic (artistic) design competition for the 50 Litas silver commemorative coin dedicated to XXIX Olympic Games: to grant to first award to authors Laura Grainyte and Evaldas Prizginas, the second award - to Vidmantas Valentas, and the third award - to Liudas Parulskis. Graphic designs on the obverse and reverse and the inscription on the edge of the coin XXIX OLIMPIADOS ZAIDYNES (twice) created by Laura Grainyte and Evaldas Prizginas for the 50 Litas commemorative silver coin dedicated to XXIX Olympic Games were also approved.
3. On the Report on the Implementation of the Primary Objective of the Bank of Lithuania, Performance of its Functions and the Situation in the Banking System
The Board of the Bank of Lithuania decided to approve the Report on the Implementation of the Primary Objective of the Bank of Lithuania, Performance of its Functions and the Situation in the Banking System in the First Half-Year of 2007.
Reports on the Implementation of the Primary Objective of the Bank of Lithuania, Performance of its Functions and the Situation in the Banking System are presented to the Seimas of the Republic of Lithuania twice a year. They are presented by the Chairman of the Board of the Bank of Lithuania.
