Over one month reserve money went up by LTL 393.2 million, of which commercial bank balances on correspondent accounts, currency in circulation and required reserves in foreign currencies increased respectively by LTL 269.3 million, LTL 100.9 million and LTL 24.6 million.The main reason behind the decrease was net purchase of the foreign exchange by the Bank of Lithuania from commercial banks of LTL 390.9 million.

Foreign assets went up by LTL 26.9 million in October, and central government deposits declined by LTL 205.8 million.
