Over one month reserve money grew by LTL 239.4 million, of which currency outside the central bank increased by LTL 136.0 million, and balances on commercial bank correspondent accounts and required reserves in foreign currencies went up by LTL 66.5 million and LTL 38.8 million, respectively. Operations with central government institutions increased reserve money by LTL 506.4 million, and net sale of foreign exchange to commercial banks reduced reserve money by LTL 260.3 million increase.

Foreign assets of the Bank of Lithuania declined in June by LTL 439.6 million, mostly owing to foreign exchange operations with commercial banks and a decline of repurchase transactions with non-residents of LTL 187.3 million. Central government deposits went down by LTL 539.1 million.
