Over one month reserve money declined by LTL 57.2 million, of which commercial bank balances on correspondent accounts decreased by LTL 111.7 million, while currency in circulation, commercial bank required reserves in foreign currencies and demand deposits of non-banking financial institutions increased by LTL 36.3 million and LTL 13.0 million and LTL 3.0 million, respectively. Reserve money was pushed down by the net sale of foreign exchange by the Bank of Lithuania of LTL 155.4 million, while operations with central government institutions pushed reserve money up by LTL 81.0 million.

Foreign assets and central government deposits declined in one month by LTL 323.6 million and LTL 254.9 million, respectively.
