The Money Museum of the Bank of Lithuania and the National Museum of Lithuania kindly invite you to an international exhibition “100 Years: Litas, Lats, Kroon”, organised jointly by the National Museums of Lithuania and Latvia and the Estonian History Museum. 

The exhibition is dedicated to the centenary of national currencies.

The exhibition “100 Years: Litas, Lats, Kroon” will be opened on 28 September 2022 at 18:00 at the National Museum of Lithuania in Vilnius.

The exhibition will showcase the national currencies of the three Baltic States and their evolution after the restoration of independence in 1990. It will display values from several Lithuanian museums, including the Money Museum of the Bank of Lithuania, such as money, their means of production, banking-related exhibits, etc. This will be the first time the Money Museum exhibits will be presented at an international exhibition.

The exhibition will run in March-May 2023 at the National History Museum of Latvia in Riga, and it will be on view in June–October 2023 at the Estonian History Museum in Tallinn.
