Obverse

The obverse of the coin features a stylised Vytis, against a background of the flames of historical victories and continuous renewal, surrounded by the inscription LIETUVA (LITHUANIA), denomination (100 litas), year of issue (2008), and the mintmark of the Lithuanian Mint.

Reverse

The reverse of the coin features main events and milestones of the State, set on a background of a stylised map of the Grand Duchy of Lithuania. The whole composition is encircled by the inscription LIETUVOS DIDŽIOJI KUNIGAIKŠTYSTĖ (THE GRAND DUCHY OF LITHUANIA), with a coronet of the GDL Dukes at the top.
