Obverse
The obverse of the coin features a stylised Vytis, surrounded by the logo of the National Olympic Committee of Lithuania and the denomination (€20).
Reverse
The reverse of the coin features an image of a swimmer on a background of clear water, created via the process of pad printing. At the bottom – the year of the XXXI Olympic Games in Rio De Janeiro (2016) and the mintmark of the Lithuanian Mint, while at the top is the inscription RIO DE ŽANEIRAS (RIO DE JANEIRO).
