The obverse of the coin features a stylised Vytis on a shield in the centre, surrounded by plaited decorative elements and the inscription LIETUVA (LITHUANIA), year of issue (2015), denomination (€20), and the mintmark of the Lithuanian Mint.

Reverse

The reverse of the coin features a portrait of Mikołaj Radziwiłł ‘the Black’ – Marshal and Chancellor of the Grand Duchy Lithuanian, Voivode of Vilnius. Also featured is the coat of arms of the Radziwiłł Family and the inscription MIKALOJUS RADVILA JUODASIS, 500 (MIKOŁAJ RADZIWIŁŁ ‘THE BLACK’, 500).
